Senior Software Engineer – AI‑Augmented Fintech

About the role

HeyMax is looking for a Senior Software Engineer who will build high‑impact fintech products while leveraging AI‑augmented development tools. You will work in a fast‑moving startup where your code directly influences how users earn, track, and redeem rewards.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and ship features that improve reward earning, tracking, and redemption.
• Apply AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) throughout the development workflow, from planning to testing and code review.
• Make sound technical design decisions that balance speed, reliability, and maintainability.
• Stay hands‑on by writing production code and understanding the details of shipped features.
• Improve code quality, observability, and test coverage to keep systems reliable at scale.
• Collaborate with product, design, business, and operations teams to translate needs into technical solutions.
• Mentor other engineers through code reviews, pairing, and sharing AI‑assisted development patterns.

Required profile

• Senior‑level engineer with strong judgment and technical depth.
• Comfortable turning ambiguous product ideas into reliable, customer‑facing systems.
• Passionate about shipping quickly but responsibly.
• Experienced using AI‑assisted coding tools to accelerate implementation, debugging, and testing.
