Senior Software Engineer

About the role

As a Senior Software Engineer you will join a dynamic team delivering e‑Government and trade digitisation platforms. You will be involved in the full software development lifecycle, from design and coding to testing, deployment and post‑implementation support, and may also support technical pre‑sales activities.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver and support software projects for government and trade clients.
• Gather requirements from stakeholders in Singapore or overseas and translate them into functional solutions.
• Participate in coding, unit testing, system installation, user training, documentation, and bug fixing.
• Produce technical artefacts such as design specifications, test plans, user manuals and training guides.
• Assist in QA test plan execution for SIT and UAT phases.
• Support pre‑sales documentation for tender submissions when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Strong sense of responsibility and ownership of work.
• Prior exposure to e‑government software solutions is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of Unix environments and PMP certification are desirable.

• Frontend: ReactJS, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS.
• Backend: Java, Spring, JasperReport, XML, JSON.
• Frameworks & Tools: Spring MVC, Hibernate, Tomcat.
• Databases: MySQL, Oracle.
