Senior Software Engineer, Mobile

About the role

Google is looking for a Senior Software Engineer focused on mobile to join its Payments team in Singapore. You will design, develop, and launch innovative mobile features that enable millions of users to pay, tap, and manage their finances securely and seamlessly.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end design, development, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement of complex mobile software.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and engineering teams across Singapore and the US.
• Integrate mobile applications with server‑side APIs and ensure reliable, high‑performance operation at scale.
• Maintain and iterate on existing mobile apps, delivering new user‑facing features with a strong sense of product ownership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of software development experience and 3 years of mobile application development.
• Proven experience designing and integrating with server‑side APIs and launching mobile applications.
• Preferred: Master’s or PhD, full‑stack development experience, large‑scale system design, and knowledge of payments or digital credentials.
