Senior Software Test Lead (SIT/UAT & Quality Assurance)

About the role

This role is responsible for planning, managing, coordinating and executing all testing activities. It ensures software quality through systematic verification and validation, maintains end-to-end requirements traceability, manages SIT and UAT activities and provides quality assurance governance across the software development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Master Test Plan and Detailed Test Plan, and define SIT, UAT, regression, security and performance testing strategies
• Set test entry and exit criteria, prepare test schedules and milestones, and estimate testing effort and resources
• Lead and coordinate the testing team, manage test execution and defect resolution, track progress against milestones and maintain quality metrics and reporting dashboards
• Maintain the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) and ensure functional and non-functional requirements are fully covered
• Manage the defect lifecycle from identification to closure, run defect triage meetings, prioritise defects with stakeholders and track defect trends
• Coordinate SIT and UAT with customer stakeholders, present test status in weekly and monthly reviews, and support project audits and quality reviews
• Coordinate security testing with internal and external stakeholders, review vulnerability assessment findings, validate remediation and support compliance verification

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related discipline
• Minimum 5-8 years of software testing experience
• Minimum 3 years as Test Lead
• Experience on enterprise system projects
• ISTQB Advanced Test Manager certification preferred
