Senior Solution Engineer - Java and Snowflake

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Solution Engineer to design, build, and operate production‑grade software and data solutions. The role focuses on Java development, AWS cloud services, and Snowflake data platforms to enable advanced analytics and AI use cases.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate end‑to‑end production‑grade software and data solutions, from architecture through deployment and continuous improvement.
• Develop reliable, scalable, secure data pipelines and products using AWS and Snowflake across structured, semi‑structured, and unstructured sources.
• Model, curate, and optimise Snowflake datasets, schemas, and structures to meet enterprise standards and ensure performance and usability.
• Apply strong software engineering practices including clean code, modular design, automated testing, CI/CD, observability, and secure development.
• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into robust data solutions and identify analytics opportunities.
• Leverage AI‑assisted engineering tools to accelerate coding, testing, debugging, and documentation while maintaining quality standards.
• Build cloud‑native integrations and automation on AWS, using compute, storage, networking, security, orchestration, event‑driven architectures, and managed AI services.
• Own deployment, release, and production operations, including troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, performance tuning, incident resolution, peer reviews, and pattern reuse.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, AI/ML, or a related technical discipline.
• 7+ years of hands‑on software, solution, or data engineering experience delivering production‑grade systems in enterprise environments.
• Proven ability to build and operate data products, cloud services, or AI‑enabled solutions with measurable business outcomes.
• Deep hands‑on experience with AWS core services, including compute, storage, networking, security, orchestration, monitoring, and serverless/event‑driven architectures.
• Extensive hands‑on experience with Snowflake, covering data modelling, SQL performance tuning, pipeline integration, access control, cost optimisation, and governance.
