Senior Speech Therapist

About the role

NHG is looking for a dedicated Speech Therapist to join its expanding team across Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Khoo Teck Puat Hospital/Yishun Community Hospital and Woodlands Hospital. The main role is to manage patients with communication, cognitive and swallowing disorders so they achieve maximal functional outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patients' swallowing and communication function, including their functional speech and language abilities.
• Provide holistic treatment and management plans after assessment.
• Educate family members and caregivers on interventions and care-giving skills.
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement in the department and guide trainees and students.

Required profile

• Recognised bachelor's degree in Speech Therapy.
• Registered or eligible for Allied Health Profession Certification (AHPC).
• Senior position considered for applicants with relevant experience.
