Senior System Administrator – Microsoft 365 & Infrastructure

About the role

We are seeking a Senior System Administrator to manage and support Microsoft 365 services and the broader IT infrastructure of a leading US electronic/electrical components manufacturer. The role ensures reliable operations, security, and performance across the organization’s digital environment.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and support Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, OneDrive, and Teams.
• Manage Active Directory – user provisioning, access control, and policy enforcement.
• Implement and maintain M365 security and compliance features such as MFA, Conditional Access, Microsoft Defender, and DLP.
• Oversee network infrastructure, including firewalls and VPN connectivity (site‑to‑site and remote access).
• Provide desktop support for Windows devices, Office applications, printers, and peripherals.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot servers and endpoints, and conduct routine maintenance (patching, backup, recovery).
• Support M365 deployment, migration, and tenant administration activities.
• Maintain accurate IT documentation and liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 1‑2 years of relevant experience in IT and cybersecurity.
• Proven experience administering Microsoft 365 email systems.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and the Microsoft Office suite.
