Senior Systems Engineer (Operational Technology)

About the role

ResMed is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer (Operational Technology) in Singapore. The role drives the strategy, execution and continuous improvement of digital transformation products supporting global Supply Chain Centres of Excellence covering engineering, maintenance, production, planning, logistics and factory management. It leads multi-site product initiatives, guides agile teams and partners with senior leaders to standardise processes, harmonise data and scale digital capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Define and refine the global product vision, strategy and multi-year roadmap, and lead alignment with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Digital Technology, Quality and Operational Excellence.
• Lead multiple agile teams to deliver scalable digital products, prioritise backlogs and ensure implementation of complex systems such as WCS, WMS, MES, ERP integrations and industrial automation.
• Drive global deployment, change management and adoption, and act as the senior liaison between factory operations and digital teams.
• Analyse manufacturing and supply chain processes, oversee KPIs on productivity, quality, throughput, downtime and yield, and introduce global best practices and reusable templates.
• Partner with data analytics teams and communicate product performance, risks and milestones to executive leadership.

Required profile

• 3 to 5+ years' experience in manufacturing, supply chain, digital transformation or related engineering/operations fields.
• Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Computer Science or equivalent.
• Experience deploying enterprise systems across multiple factories or global networks.
• Strong documentation, organisational, analytical and communication skills, including engagement with global senior leaders.

Required skills

• Understanding of manufacturing systems: WCS, WMS, MES, SCADA, PLCs, ERP integration and industrial automation.
• Smart Factory technologies: IoT, OT/IT integration, digital manufacturing platforms, database integration and MQTT.
• Ignition for SCADA/MES, OPC-UA and PLC interfaces.
• Preferred: Power BI or Tableau, SQL, data lakes/warehouses, cybersecurity awareness, OEE, Atlassian suite and requirements management tools.
