Senior Tax Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Tax Manager to lead our group’s tax function, ensuring compliance, strategic advisory, and risk management across all jurisdictions. The role combines technical tax expertise with leadership and business partnering.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee preparation and timely filing of all direct and indirect tax returns, including corporate income tax, VAT/GST, and withholding tax.
• Manage transfer pricing documentation, Country‑by‑Country Reporting and Global Minimum Tax submissions.
• Lead month‑end and year‑end tax reporting, tax provisions, and deferred tax calculations.
• Handle tax audits and inquiries, acting as the primary liaison with tax authorities.
• Monitor legislative changes, assess business impact, and maintain robust tax controls.
• Provide tax advisory support to cross‑functional teams on contracts, transactions and projects.
• Lead, mentor and develop a high‑performing tax team.
• Manage relationships with external advisors, auditors and relevant authorities.

Required profile

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance or related discipline.
• Professional qualification (e.g., SCTP, CPA).
• Minimum 8 years of tax experience, preferably a mix of Big 4 and in‑house roles.
• Self‑driven, decisive and able to influence outcomes.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across departments.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
