Senior Team Lead

About the role

The Senior Team Lead will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring that receiving, put‑away, picking, packing and dispatch meet customer SLA targets. This role combines hands‑on floor leadership with data‑driven decision making to drive productivity, quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily warehouse processes to achieve zero service failures and meet SLA commitments.
• Lead daily toolbox meetings focused on productivity, quality, 5S and safety standards.
• Allocate manpower and Material Handling Equipment (MHE) across shifts according to volume forecasts while controlling overtime within budget.
• Motivate and supervise a team of 6‑10 operators to meet operational objectives.
• Maintain strict inventory accuracy through cycle counts and system data validation.
• Approve leave requests, create shift rosters and manage administrative tasks.
• Identify training gaps, schedule compliance and operational training.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions for non‑compliances.
• Submit system change requests and report daily KPI performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading small warehouse teams in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with operators and internal/external stakeholders.
• Ability to interpret operational dashboards and make data‑informed decisions.
• Experience with process mapping and practical shop‑floor problem solving.

Required skills

• Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) proficiency.
• Familiarity with enterprise systems such as SAP.
• Ability to read and analyse data from Power BI or Tableau.
• Basic process mapping and flowchart creation.
