Senior Technician – Maintenance & Facilities

About the role

Marriott International is seeking a reliable Senior Technician to join its facilities team at 30 Beach Road, Singapore. The role focuses on delivering prompt minor plumbing and general maintenance services to ensure guest comfort and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Unclog drains, plunge toilets, and repair leaky spigots and faucets.
• Perform minor repairs such as tightening loose toilet seats, replacing light bulbs, and patching wall holes.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Inspect tools, equipment, and machinery for safety and functionality.
• Move, lift, and carry objects up to 50 lb independently and assist with items over 100 lb as needed.
• Follow all company safety, security, and confidentiality policies.
• Provide courteous service to guests, including assistance for individuals with disabilities.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.

Required skills

• Basic plumbing knowledge.
• Basic electrical maintenance (e.g., light bulb replacement).
• Preventative maintenance of tools and equipment.
• Tool inspection and safety awareness.
