Senior Threat Emulation & Exposure Consultant

About the role

CrowdStrike is hiring a Senior Threat Emulation & Exposure Consultant, a customer-facing role that is both technical and advisory. The consultant operates service capabilities that continuously evaluate risk and exposures using SafeMind, Falcon and other frontier capabilities, focusing on Exposure Management, Red Teaming and Vulnerability Management to protect customer IT infrastructure. The role also involves mentoring and supporting junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Act as primary contact for customer coordination and deliver agentic and generative AI-enabled risk exposure, vulnerability and penetration testing and mitigation strategies.
• Refine, improve and present outputs from SafeMind, Falcon and other tools for management and technical audiences.
• Document and communicate recommendations to improve technical capabilities and support technical operations.
• Communicate clearly with customers and internal teams at executive and technical levels.

Required profile

• Highly preferred: minimum 5 years of experience in penetration testing or application security.
• Experience in vulnerability management, continuous threat exposure management and technical risk consulting.
• Security community participation (e.g., conference speaking, tool development) highly preferred.
• Proven experience using AI technologies to improve decision-making, workflows and efficiency.
• Occasional travel may be required (less than 25%).

Required skills

• Advanced experience with security assessment tools such as Metasploit, Nmap, Cobalt Strike, Nessus and Burp Suite.
• Generative AI and agentic technologies in security operations.
• Automation and scripting of applications and systems.
• Knowledge of firewalls, proxies, mail servers and web servers.
• Operational support for operating systems, applications and networks.
• Desirable certifications: OSCP, OSEP, GPEN, GXPN, CRTO.
