Senior UX Designer – National Arts Council

About the role

Join GovTech’s Culture, Community and Youth Cluster as a Senior UX Designer embedded within the National Arts Council (NAC). You will lead the design of NAC’s centralised data platform, turning complex arts datasets into intuitive, evidence‑driven tools for internal officers and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Design end‑to‑end user experiences for a cross‑sector data platform supporting policy, funding and participation insights.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers and NAC stakeholders to gather requirements and translate data‑policy needs into testable design solutions.
• Create wireframes, prototypes and visual designs that cater to users with varying levels of data literacy.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to validate concepts and iterate rapidly.
• Ensure design consistency with GovTech’s design system and accessibility standards.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in user experience design, preferably for data‑intensive or public‑sector products.
• Strong ability to work cross‑functionally with technical and policy teams.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate design decisions to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Self‑starter mindset with a passion for improving the arts and cultural ecosystem.
