Senior Vice President, Strategic Business Planning, Consumer Banking

About the role

This role develops strategic insights and plans for Consumer Banking Group Singapore. It sits within the Strategic Planning and Program Management function of the COO office and works with senior leaders to shape and communicate the business strategy across the bank, bringing external perspectives and forward-looking analysis into decision-making.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Consumer Banking Group Singapore Head and COO in strategic planning and implementation.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to define short and long-term business priorities.
• Identify and analyse emerging trends through research and recommend directions for the business.
• Gather and synthesise information from external sources to highlight key focus areas.
• Share insights and focus areas with management to inform strategic actions and refine execution.
• Translate complex information into clear messages for stakeholders and develop narratives and presentations for executives, regulators and external partners.
• Develop and drive top-of-house leadership engagement plans.

Required profile

• 10 years of relevant experience in strategic planning.
• Growth mindset, resilience and strong critical, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work under pressure with a strong sense of accountability.
• Able to collaborate with stakeholders of diverse seniority and communicate complex topics clearly to senior management.
• Able to deliver high-quality executive presentations quickly with attention to detail.
