About the role
Maersk is looking for a Senior Operator for its warehouse operations. The role covers picking, packing and scanning, loading and unloading containers, and supporting general warehouse activities.
Key responsibilities
- Pick, pack and scan packed goods
- Load and unload containers and sort goods
- Use the RDT scanner to scan pallets
- Ensure inventory accuracy through weekly and monthly stock counts and random checks
- Support general warehouse operations
- Practice safe handling and use of warehouse equipment and machinery
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor
Required profile
- Minimum secondary level education (ITE)
- Physically fit, as the job involves handling heavy products
- Safety-conscious mindset, maintaining safety, health and operational quality standards
- Willingness to work overtime when required
Required skills
- Forklift licence
- Work-at-height licence (an added advantage)
- Able to operate MHE such as reach trucks and order pickers (an added advantage)
