Senior Yield Engineer

About the role

The Senior Yield Engineer will lead complex yield analysis initiatives to improve product quality and manufacturing efficiency in a semiconductor environment. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to develop practical solutions that drive profitability and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed yield analysis to identify loss mechanisms and quality issues.
• Collaborate with Process, Equipment, QA and other teams to implement yield improvement projects.
• Lead yield‑related audits, prepare documentation and present findings to internal and external stakeholders.
• Generate weekly yield reports, monitor trends and highlight deviations.
• Drive root‑cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Support customer engagements, process qualifications and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 2‑5 years of experience in semiconductor process or yield engineering.
• Knowledge of Wafer Level Chip Scale Packaging (WLCSP) operations is a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work independently and meet operational goals.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using data‑analysis tools such as JMP, Tableau or Python.
• Familiarity with FineBi reporting tools.
