Senior/Executive Engineer, Commuter Infrastructure Development (Civil 2)

About the role

This position covers the design and construction of bus depots and bus interchanges and terminals. The engineer manages projects so they are completed on time, within budget and in line with contract specifications, design, safety requirements and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the design and construction of bus depots, interchanges and terminals
• Supervise projects and ensure timely completion
• Ensure works follow budget, contract specifications, design, safety and quality standards
• Coordinate projects on contractual, technical and public relations matters with contractors, design consultants, government agencies and community stakeholders

Required profile

• Civil or structural engineering knowledge
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a project or construction environment, or in civil/structural design
• Strong leadership skills and good knowledge of building codes and construction safety regulations
• Detail-oriented, with strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills

Required skills

• BIM and project planning/management software (an advantage)
• Experience in transformation and productivity in the workplace or construction industry (an advantage)
