SEO Technical Lead

About the role

We are seeking an experienced SEO Technical Lead to drive the strategic and technical direction of OOm’s SEO campaigns. The role will solve complex performance issues, plan scalable strategies and future‑proof our methodologies against evolving search‑engine algorithms.

Key responsibilities

• Lead advanced technical SEO audits covering crawlability, indexation, site architecture, Core Web Vitals, JavaScript rendering and canonicalisation.
• Develop and implement strategic adoption of emerging SEO trends such as AI in search, Google’s AI Overviews, SGE and zero‑click SERPs.
• Provide developer‑ready recommendations for WordPress, Shopify, Magento, Webflow and custom CMS platforms, including HTML, CSS and basic JavaScript fixes.
• Investigate ranking drops, traffic crashes or crawl issues using forensic analysis, logs and tools like Google Search Console and Screaming Frog.
• Collaborate with Account Managers to resolve campaign escalations and present data‑backed solutions to clients.
• Design and deliver advanced technical SEO training, mentoring specialists in diagnosing and fixing technical problems.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading technical SEO for agency or enterprise environments.
• Strong analytical rigour and ability to act as a senior advisor to internal teams and clients.
• Comfortable working across multiple CMS platforms and communicating technical recommendations to developers.
• Experience mentoring and upskilling SEO specialists.
