Shipping Associate

About the role

Rockwell Automation is hiring a Shipping Associate in Singapore to perform the physical and administrative tasks involved in shipping, receiving, storing and distributing materials, parts, supplies and equipment. The role reports to the Warehouse Supervisor based in Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Perform manual and clerical duties for the shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment and finished products, and maintain necessary files and documentation.
• Unpack and count goods received, checking them against purchase orders or invoices and rejecting unsatisfactory items.
• Prepare and pack goods for shipment, load and unload carriers, and route materials to inspection, stores or other destinations.
• Lift heavy items and operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, skids, pallet handlers and hand trucks.
• Maintain records of received goods and of merchandise shipped, and post weights and shipping charges.
• Examine, stock and distribute materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines, and may prepare kitting packages for assembly production.

Required profile

• Minimum secondary education or Higher Nitec.
• 1 year of operator experience in an SMT environment.
• Ability to work on shift basis (day shift of 12 hours, with a 4 days on / 3 days off rotation).
• Willingness to work under close management and to receive detailed instructions on each task.
