Shipping Executive – Import/Export Documentation

About the role

We are looking for a Shipping Executive to manage end‑to‑end documentation for import and export shipments across Singapore. The role involves coordinating with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth movement of goods.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare full sets of shipping documents (Import/Export, Back‑to‑Back, Transhipment) including delivery orders, invoices, certificates of origin (FTA) and related paperwork.
• Handle customs permit declarations and apply for CNB licences.
• Liaise with warehouse staff, freight forwarders and liner agents to schedule shipments.
• Source competitive freight rates and negotiate with carriers.
• Communicate with overseas customers and suppliers, supporting cross‑border transactions.
• Verify HS codes and review vessel nominations for accuracy.

Required profile

• Experience preparing comprehensive shipping documentation for import and export operations.
• Familiarity with customs permit processes and CNB licence applications.
• Strong coordination skills with warehouse, freight forwarders and liner partners.
• Ability to source and compare freight rates.
• Attention to detail in checking HS codes and vessel nominations.

• Full‑time, Monday‑to‑Friday schedule (9:00 am – 6:00 pm).
• Competitive monthly salary of SGD 2,500 – 3,000.
