Shipping Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Shipping Specialist to coordinate and monitor both domestic and international shipments from our Singapore hub. You will ensure that all export orders are processed in line with customer requirements, company procedures and global trade regulations, supporting our mission to deliver innovative products across the Asia‑Pacific region.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and process domestic and international shipments according to customer specifications and internal procedures.
• Prepare, review and verify shipping documentation such as commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin and Letters of Credit.
• Work closely with Customer Service, Planning, Warehouse, Production and other internal teams to capture and fulfil shipping requirements.
• Arrange transport with freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers and logistics partners, and resolve any transportation issues.
• Monitor shipment schedules, track deliveries and communicate status or delays to stakeholders.
• Ensure all export documentation complies with trade regulations, customs requirements and company policies, using SAP for document preparation.
• Support customs clearance activities and respond to requests from logistics providers or authorities.
• Resolve shipping discrepancies, documentation issues and customer inquiries promptly.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement projects to enhance shipping efficiency and documentation accuracy.
• Assist in developing and maintaining written export transportation procedures.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with multiple internal stakeholders.
• Proactive communication skills to keep customers and partners informed of shipment status.
• Knowledge of export regulations, customs clearance processes and Letters of Credit.
