Site Engineer – Construction Projects

About the role

The Site Engineer will oversee and coordinate construction activities across various sites in Singapore, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction activities and ensure work follows approved drawings and specifications.
• Monitor site progress, report delays, and coordinate with project managers to keep projects on schedule.
• Review and interpret construction drawings, technical specifications, and resolve on‑site technical issues.
• Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality standards and compliance with codes and regulations.
• Ensure workplace safety by coordinating with the safety team and addressing any safety concerns.
• Prepare daily and progress reports, maintain accurate records of materials, manpower, and project status.
• Liaise with subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and site workers to facilitate smooth project execution.

Required profile

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or a related field.
• Relevant experience in the construction industry, preferably on Singapore projects.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and technical documents.
• Strong communication, coordination and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficiency in English; Chinese language skills are a plus.
