Site Engineer

About the role

Citadel Search is recruiting an experienced Site Engineer to oversee construction activities on-site. You will plan, implement and monitor work progress while coordinating with consultants, subcontractors and engineers so that projects are delivered on schedule and to quality standards. Key responsibilities

• Oversee construction activities and monitor progress against the master and detailed work program.
• Liaise with professional engineers on temporary works matters.
• Coordinate with consultants (QPS) on technical issues and manage site activities with subcontractors.
• Guide site supervisors so that work stays on schedule.
• Maintain quality standards through regular site inspections and timely resolution of technical issues.
• Handle engineering and technical problems as they arise on-site.
• Prepare reports and method statements as required.
• Manage and supervise workers on-site, ensuring a safe and orderly environment.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of relevant site engineering experience, preferably on LTA projects.
• Experience managing tunnel structure (rebar, concrete), diaphragm walls, bored piling, bulk excavation and drain construction works.
• Willingness to work a 6-day week from 7:30am to 6:00pm.
