Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

Kyndryl runs and reimagines the mission-critical technology systems that power leading businesses, and its Site Reliability Engineers act as conductors of those programs, earning the trust of customers and stakeholders and influencing high-impact initiatives. Key responsibilities

• Define and monitor Service Level Indicators (SLI) and Service Level Objectives (SLO)
• Implement reliability engineering practices
• Conduct incident management and root cause analysis
• Automate operational processes
• Improve system resilience and fault tolerance
• Develop monitoring and observability frameworks
• Support disaster recovery and business continuity exercises

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of operations or reliability engineering experience
• Customer-focused and open to working with diverse colleagues
• Growth mindset, eager to develop personally and professionally

Required skills

• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Dynatrace and AppDynamics
• Background in cloud services and container platforms
• Scripting and automation knowledge
• Knowledge of ITIL and SRE methodologies
