Skilled Carpenter

About the role

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Skilled Carpenter to join Woodxer Construction in Singapore. The role involves fabricating, assembling, installing and repairing custom‑built furniture, cabinets and interior fit‑out items for residential and commercial projects.

Key responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble custom furniture, wardrobes, kitchen cabinets and other carpentry items according to approved drawings.
• Install cabinets, wardrobes, TV consoles, vanities, wall panels and related fit‑out works on‑site.
• Read and interpret shop and production drawings accurately.
• Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely, including panel saws, edge‑banding machines, CNC routers and drilling machines.
• Measure, cut, edge‑band, drill and assemble timber and laminate materials.
• Perform adjustments, touch‑ups and rectifications as required to meet quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe workshop and site environment.
• Coordinate with supervisors, project managers and installers to ensure timely project completion.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in furniture manufacturing or interior fit‑out carpentry.
• Ability to read and understand technical/shop drawings.
• Experience with laminate finishing, cabinet fabrication and furniture installation.
• Physically fit and able to work at project sites.
• Team player with a positive attitude and good communication skills.
• Relevant safety certifications (e.g., CSOC) and a Class 3 driving licence are an advantage.
