Software Developer – Full Stack & Data Integration

About the role

VisionPower Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (VSMC) is building a 300 mm wafer fab in Singapore and seeks a motivated Software Developer to design and deliver data‑driven applications that support decision‑making across the organization. You will work on full‑stack solutions, from back‑end services to interactive front‑end dashboards, and ensure seamless integration of legacy data sources.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement robust data models and integrated IT systems that consolidate information from multiple sources.
• Develop, optimise, and maintain scalable back‑end services and APIs using Python and Flask.
• Build responsive user interfaces with React or Angular for reporting and system interaction.
• Write and tune complex Oracle SQL queries, manage large‑scale database performance, and design schemas.
• Automate data‑collection workflows, system monitoring, and cross‑platform integration.
• Create and maintain data integration pipelines, including migration from SAS to modern web environments.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Continuously refactor code and system processes to reduce technical debt, improve security, and enhance reliability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, IT, or a related engineering field.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in software development, data integration, and full‑stack web deployment.
• Strong organisational habits, clean‑code practices and ability to communicate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.

Required skills

• Python and Flask framework.
• R for automation (optional).
• React and Angular JavaScript libraries.
• Oracle SQL, database schema design and performance tuning.
• SAS coding and integration of SAS data sources.
• API development, data modelling and automated workflow design.
