Software Development Engineer Intern - Connected Delivery

About the role

Autodesk is looking for a Software Development Engineer intern to join a team building key components of its Delivery Platform, which supports diverse workflows and integrations. The internship runs from 11 January to 25 June 2027 and is a 6-month full-time position. An on-site in-person recruitment drive runs from 9 October to 6 November 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Build AI-enhanced components and intelligent services, and learn to create consistent, reusable and adaptable modules.
• Research practical solutions for desktop and cloud-based applications.
• Design and build software applications for Windows, macOS and Linux platforms.
• Work with cross-functional teams on integration challenges across components and SDKs.
• Prototype and evaluate new technologies and algorithms.
• Take part in design and code reviews within and across teams.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a full-time Bachelor's program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• In the penultimate or final year, graduating in 2027 or 2028.
• Fast learner interested in scalability, optimization, reliability and emerging technologies such as AI.

Required skills

• Proficiency in C++ and Python.
• Familiarity with AI concepts, AI tools such as Claude, and IDEs such as Cursor.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and deployment pipelines.
• React or Angular is a plus.
