Software Development Engineer Intern - Identity Access Management

About the role

Autodesk's Identity Access and Management team is looking for a Software Development Engineer intern to join the team that builds the Identity Access Management Platform, a key service used by millions of customers daily across 150+ desktop, mobile, web applications and cloud services. The internship is fixed from 11 January to 25 June 2027, and the recruitment drive is in person from 9 October to 6 November 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Work as a Software Engineer Intern in a self-organized agile team that builds, owns and runs the service as a platform enabling Enterprise Single-Sign-On for Autodesk enterprise customers.
• Develop, build, maintain and own the cloud service.
• Assist in operations such as monitoring, alerting, metrics, logging and troubleshooting.
• Work closely with senior engineers and architects, and product owners.
• Own the service end to end, including debugging complex technical issues across multiple systems and components.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a full-time Bachelor's program in Computer Science, Engineering or another relevant field.
• In the penultimate or final year of study, graduating in 2027 or 2028.

Required skills

• Good understanding of OOP and its use in languages such as Go, Java, C++, C# or Python.
• Familiarity with web services, including REST.
• Preferred: cloud-native development, AWS, system testing best practices, automated builds and test cases, and performance metrics.
