Software Engineer – AI-driven FinTech Platform

About the role

We are partnering with a leading fintech company in Singapore to build a high-performance, AI-driven banking platform. The Software Engineer will design, develop and maintain cloud-based solutions that embed advanced AI models into financial applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain a scalable platform for AI-driven banking solutions.
• Write clean, efficient code for cloud-based systems using Java, Python or C.
• Integrate software components with internal and external systems to ensure seamless functionality.
• Incorporate AI and machine-learning models for real-time processing and optimize their performance.
• Develop and execute unit, integration and performance tests to guarantee software quality.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues across development, test and production environments.
• Contribute to the architecture of secure, high-performance financial systems.
• Participate in code and design reviews and collaborate with engineers, researchers and product managers.

Required profile

• Computer degree with at least 4 years of hands-on software development experience.
• Experience in fintech, banking or financial services.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of AI, NLP or machine-learning frameworks is a plus.

Required skills

• Java, Python or C (and related frameworks).
• Cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP or Azure.
