Software Engineer (CAE/CAD) – Machine Tool Software Support

About the role

A German-headquartered machine manufacturer is looking for an experienced Software Engineer (CAE/CAD) to join its Technology team in Singapore. The role combines technical support and training of software products with support for machine tool sales and software engineers in CNC programming, and covers customer support for software licensing and pricing.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support and conduct training on software products
• Support machine tool sales and software engineers in CNC programming
• Provide customer support for sales on software products, including licensing and pricing
• Give regional consultations to customers on the range of software products

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the sheet metal fabrication (SMF) industry
• Team player with excellent interpersonal skills to engage internal and external stakeholders
• Willingness to travel around South East Asia

Required skills

• Proficiency in CAE and CAD
• CNC programming
