Software Engineer – Cloud & Platform

About the role

Encora is seeking a Software Engineer to design and build scalable, cloud‑native solutions for its clients in Singapore. You will work on modern web applications, infrastructure automation, and event‑driven architectures while collaborating closely with product and business teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java services using Spring Framework and TypeScript front‑ends with React.
• Independently manage cloud environments, including Kubernetes clusters and Open Policy Agent policies.
• Build and operate CI/CD pipelines, automate releases, and ensure reliable version control with Git.
• Implement messaging solutions using Kafka and support asynchronous, event‑driven processing.
• Collaborate across engineering, product, and business stakeholders to deliver projects on time.

Required profile

• 1–6 years of hands‑on software development experience with a solid foundation in system design.
• At least 3 years of experience managing cloud environments and delivering infrastructure solutions.
• Highly organized, able to prioritize multiple tasks, and influence stakeholders.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex requirements into practical solutions.
• Clear communicator with a passion for continuous learning and rapid prototyping.
