Software Engineer – Full‑stack (React/Node) – 1‑year contract

About the role

Activate Interactive is looking for a Software Engineer to join its Co‑Development Business Unit on a 1‑year contract. You will work on modern web and mobile applications that aim to create a positive impact for users.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, design and ship production‑grade features for live systems using JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Develop and maintain scalable front‑end applications with React.js and back‑end services with Node.js.
• Build rapid prototypes and proof‑of‑concepts to explore emerging technologies.
• Own the DevOps lifecycle: manage cloud deployments, infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate across disciplines, mentor teammates and promote a culture of continuous learning.

Required profile

• 2+ years of professional experience building modern web applications.
• Strong proficiency in React.js and modern front‑end practices.
• Experience designing RESTful or GraphQL APIs with Node.js.
• Working knowledge of relational databases and automated testing (Mocha, Chai, Sinon).
• Product‑minded, self‑managed and eager to learn new technologies.
