Software Engineer – Google Wallet

About the role

Google is looking for a Software Engineer to join the Google Wallet team in Singapore. You will help build and enhance the next‑generation digital payment and credential platform that powers everyday transactions for billions of users.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software components for Google Wallet.
• Collaborate with product, UX, and engineering teams across Singapore and the US.
• Manage project priorities, deadlines and deliverables while ensuring high‑quality code.
• Leverage AI‑powered development tools such as Jetski and Gemini CLI to accelerate development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 2 years of software development experience.
• 3 years of mobile software development experience is preferred.
• Experience launching and maintaining Android or iOS applications.
• Understanding of full‑stack development, testing methodologies and best practices for mobile apps.
• Familiarity with payments or digital‑credential ecosystems.
• Passion for user‑facing features and product excellence.
