Software Engineer, iOS & Android

About the role

Notewise is seeking a motivated Software Engineer to help build and enhance its award‑winning note‑taking app on both iOS and Android platforms. You will work alongside an agile team, gaining hands‑on experience in mobile development while contributing to features used by millions worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship new features for iOS (Swift) and Android (Java/Kotlin) applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code.
• Participate in code reviews and adopt best practices from senior engineers.
• Collaborate with product, design, QA, and management to deliver high‑quality releases.
• Assist in testing, debugging, and troubleshooting mobile issues.
• Continuously improve technical skills and share knowledge within the team.

Required skills

• Experience with native Android development using Java or Kotlin.
• Experience with native iOS development using Swift.
• Basic understanding of multi‑threaded programming, memory management, and database design.
