Software Engineer, Mobile (iOS)

About the role

Google is looking for a Software Engineer focused on mobile iOS development to build new capabilities and collaborate with cross‑functional teams in Singapore and the United States. You will own end‑to‑end delivery from design to deployment, impacting millions of users who digitize everyday essentials. The role leverages AI‑powered development tools to accelerate delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and engineers to define and implement user‑facing features.
• Contribute across the full stack, including designing and integrating with server‑side APIs.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle in a fast‑paced environment.
• Advocate product excellence, ensuring accessibility and internationalization.
• Leverage AI tools (e.g., Jetski, Gemini CLI) to enhance development workflows.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 2 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages.
• Minimum 2 years of native iOS development experience (Swift, SwiftUI).
• Experience with the full software development lifecycle and full‑stack development.
• Solid understanding of testing methodologies and best practices for mobile apps.
• Proven track record of launching and maintaining iOS applications.
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams across time zones.
• Interest and experience using AI tools for development workflows.
• Passion for user‑facing features and product excellence.
