Software QA Engineer – Start Jan 2027

About the role

We are looking for a Software QA Engineer to join a dynamic IT team on a 1‑year renewable contract, starting in January 2027. The role focuses on ensuring high‑quality software releases through comprehensive testing and automation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and execute test strategies, plans, cases and regression suites.
• Build and maintain automated testing frameworks using tools such as Playwright, Cypress or Selenium.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, API and smoke testing throughout the development lifecycle.
• Support User Acceptance Testing by preparing scenarios and assisting end‑users.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners and stakeholders to identify and resolve defects.
• Validate releases and ensure quality standards before deployment.
• Enable continuous testing within Agile and CI/CD environments.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of hands‑on software quality assurance experience.
• Strong background in automation testing and framework design.
• Experience with API testing tools and SQL for data validation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Agile development practices.
• Understanding of defect management and testing methodologies.
