Spa & Wellness Training Manager

About the role

The Spa & Wellness Training Manager is responsible for designing, delivering and overseeing the education curriculum for spa therapists, ensuring consistent service standards and exceptional guest experiences across all spa and wellness treatments.

Key responsibilities

• Act as brand guardian, maintaining treatment delivery, consultation and guest journey in line with brand positioning.
• Maintain an active floor presence to coach staff, provide real‑time feedback and reinforce standards.
• Develop and deliver hands‑on training plans, course materials and workshops covering technical treatment skills, equipment use and product knowledge.
• Collaborate with Spa & Wellness leadership to align treatment sequencing, room set‑up and wellness‑journey touchpoints.
• Analyse guest feedback and service recovery cases to identify root causes and implement targeted coaching.
• Align training initiatives with commercial goals such as retail conversion, add‑on penetration and program uptake, tracking KPI impact.
• Drive consultative selling and equipment utilisation through training, while ensuring ethical positioning.
• Conduct regular compliance and standards audits, reporting findings and driving corrective actions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in spa or wellness training and operations.
• Strong knowledge of a full range of spa treatments, equipment and product lines.
• Ability to demonstrate, supervise and correct technical tasks to brand standards.
• Excellent analytical skills to interpret guest comments and KPI data.
• Effective communication and coaching skills for on‑floor staff development.
