Special Process Operator

About the role

The Special Process Operator is responsible for applying thermal spray and GEL coating to gas turbine and aero‑derivative engine components. The role supports a range of ancillary processes such as blasting, polishing and heat‑treatment to ensure finished parts meet strict quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform thermal spray and/or GEL coating on engine repair parts following detailed work instructions.
• Execute supplementary tasks including blasting, polishing and heat‑treatment as required.
• Maintain product quality, care for equipment, and achieve production output targets.
• Uphold housekeeping standards and adhere to production schedules.
• Comply with all applicable EHS regulations and report unsafe conditions immediately.
• Carry out any additional duties assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

• Completion of secondary education or higher; NTC or equivalent preferred.
• Three years of relevant experience is preferred, but candidates without experience may be considered for on‑the‑job training.
• Basic command of spoken and written English.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts.
