Staff / Principal Recruiter - Talent Acquisition (Singapore)

About the role

Micron is looking for a highly strategic Staff / Principal Recruiter to join its Talent Acquisition team in Singapore. This is not a transactional recruiting role: the person acts as a trusted business advisor and talent strategist who leads hiring strategies, influences senior stakeholders and drives talent programs aligned with business priorities. Success requires balancing strategic thinking with execution, and using AI, digital tools and innovative approaches to improve hiring.

Key responsibilities

• Advise business leaders on workforce and hiring strategy, assess hiring trade-offs and risks, and make decisions in ambiguous situations such as candidate calibration
• Build trusted relationships with senior leaders, hiring managers and HR partners, and influence decisions through data and market insights
• Lead end-to-end recruitment programs and initiatives, acting as program owner and improving processes and recruiter productivity
• Use AI, automation and digital tools to improve sourcing, screening and decision-making, and run experiments
• Own full-cycle recruitment for critical engineering, manufacturing and technical roles, build talent pipelines and ensure a good candidate experience
• Support employer branding, campus engagement and talent outreach, mentor junior recruiters and partner with HRBP, onboarding and compliance teams

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field
• At least 7 years of recruiting experience with demonstrated strategic impact
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, semiconductor or high-tech industries preferred
• Proven track record in stakeholder management, program leadership and hiring delivery

Required skills

• Strong end-to-end recruiting and talent strategy expertise
• Program and project management, including complex hiring initiatives
• Data literacy: interpreting hiring metrics, market insights and talent trends
• ATS and sourcing tools such as Workday and LinkedIn Recruiter, plus AI-enabled platforms
• Preferred: semiconductor or advanced manufacturing experience, high-volume hiring, campus recruiting, employer branding, knowledge of the Singapore labour market and regional hiring strategy influence
