Staff Product Owner – Industrial & Physical AI

About the role

The Staff Product Owner, Industrial & Physical AI, will lead the definition, prioritisation and delivery of AI‑powered solutions that support Micron’s global construction, facilities, EHS, digital‑twin and physical‑AI initiatives. Reporting to the Director of Industrial & Physical AI, you will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, translating requirements into scalable products.

Key responsibilities

• Define and manage the product roadmap for the Industrial & Physical AI portfolio, aligning with global fab expansion programmes.
• Partner with executive and business teams to identify AI, robotics, automation and digital‑twin opportunities that improve operational performance, safety and project execution.
• Lead stakeholder discovery sessions, gather requirements and define success criteria.
• Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, BRDs, FRDs, data requirements and AI model performance metrics.
• Own and prioritise the product backlog, balancing value, feasibility, risk and timelines.
• Drive Agile and Waterfall delivery cycles, coordinating with software, data and machine‑learning engineers.
• Track product performance, adoption metrics and business outcomes, reporting to leadership.

Required profile

• Senior individual contributor with strong product‑management expertise.
• Proven stakeholder‑management skills in complex, cross‑functional environments.
• Experience delivering software, AI, automation or industrial‑technology products.
• Ability to influence product strategy and investment decisions across global programmes.
