Steward Supervisor – Restaurant Operations

About the role

Marina Bay Sands is seeking a Steward Supervisor to lead a team of stewards in delivering a spotless dining environment. You will oversee daily cleaning operations, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise full‑time and casual stewards to maintain restaurant cleanliness.
• Manage inventory of operating supplies and OS&E.
• Oversee floor, wall, equipment, ice‑machine, shelf, filter, holloware, dish station, trolley, garbage, and toilet cleaning.
• Maintain daily Standard Operating Procedures and ensure proper equipment storage.
• Assist the Stewarding Leadership Team with scheduling, recruitment, performance appraisals, and training.
• Update bulletin boards, disseminate operational information, and conduct on‑the‑job training for new stewards.
• Prepare daily F&B supply needs and monitor guest feedback.
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and hygiene inspectors to ensure food safety compliance.

Required profile

• Minimum high school “O” Level; diploma preferred.
• At least 2 years experience in restaurant/bar operations, with 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Strong command of written and verbal English.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work a 24‑hour rotating shift, including public holidays.
