Stockroom Assistant

About the role

The Stockroom Assistant ensures smooth handling of merchandise in the store, supporting the Stockroom Manager and Sales Assistant to maximise sales and maintain product integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, store and prepare goods for the sales floor following company procedures.
• Manage shop‑to‑shop and return transfers, ensuring compliance with timelines.
• Process E‑Commerce orders (Prada.com and e‑tailers) to meet service level targets.
• Handle special stock categories such as damaged, on‑hold, consignment and repair items.
• Organise packaging, stationery, display objects and gift flows in the IT system.
• Protect and package products for internal movement and external shipments.
• Investigate and document any system discrepancies or theft incidents.
• Record product movements and related documentation in the IT system.
• Conduct physical and cycle inventories of finished products and accessories.
• Maintain a clean, secure stockroom and liaise with suppliers.
• Support Client Advisors and Visual Merchandising teams with product knowledge.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict guidelines.
• Good organisational skills to manage multiple stock flows.
• Team‑player attitude, supporting both stockroom and sales teams.
• Familiarity with luxury fashion merchandise across all categories.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, international retail environment.
