Strategic Communications Consultant - Corporate Reputation

About the role

FTI Consulting's Strategic Communications team in Singapore advises clients on financial communications, corporate reputation and public affairs. The Consultant supports ongoing communications programmes and contributes to new business proposals, working with a diverse team across Asia and globally.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with client deliverables and advise on communications programmes, focusing on financial services corporate communications and media relations.
• Draft communications materials such as strategies, press releases, client memos, articles and briefing documents under senior guidance.
• Build relationships with key financial and business media and stakeholders.
• Deliver high-quality work and manage assigned client engagement tasks.
• Help senior team members develop new business initiatives, such as prospect research and proposal reviews.
• Share strategic and creative insights in client and internal discussions and stay current on industry trends.
• Follow FTI's values, Code of Ethics and Strategic Communications Rules of Practice.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, International Relations, Business or a related field preferred.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in strategic communications and media relations; strong graduates with internship experience are encouraged to apply.
• Interest in financial markets and financial services.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Preferred: strong interpersonal skills, ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines, comfort with senior stakeholders in a fast pace, and willingness to accommodate regional or global meeting hours.
