Strategic Customer Advisor – APJ

About the role

Databricks is building a small team of elite sales leaders to tackle its most complex, high‑stakes customer opportunities across the APJ region. The Strategic Customer Advisor works directly with critical accounts, helping to align executives, accelerate deal velocity, and raise the overall effectiveness of the field sales organization.

Key responsibilities

• Step into late‑stage, high‑value deals where alignment is weak and drive execution improvements.
• Engage C‑level leaders (CIO, CDO, business heads) with a credible point of view on data, AI, and platform transformation.
• Structure ambiguous opportunities, align stakeholders, clarify value, and compress decision cycles.
• Coach Account Executives and field leaders in real time, elevating deal strategy and qualification standards.
• Translate successful plays into repeatable frameworks for global enablement forums.

Required profile

• 10+ years of top‑tier performance in enterprise sales, preferably within data & AI organizations.
• Proven experience leading large, multi‑year, multi‑stakeholder deals for Fortune 500 / Global 2000 customers.
• Executive presence with the ability to quickly establish credibility at the C‑level.
• Demonstrated ability to influence without authority across account teams and partners.
• High ownership, high standards, and a low‑ego collaborative mindset.
