Supply Chain Master Data Manager

About the role

The Supply Chain Master Data Manager plays a critical role in data discovery, governance, solution design, quality measurement and issue resolution. The role requires a deep understanding of supply chain functions and the ability to turn user stories into detailed data and analytics requirements, working across teams to ensure data quality and drive the implementation of transformative solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct data discovery to identify key data sources and understand the current data landscape.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse business requirements from a data readiness perspective.
• Identify and develop business processes with process owners for the creation and maintenance of critical data elements.
• Establish and implement data quality metrics and KPIs, and orchestrate the data governance framework with supply chain functions.
• Monitor data quality and integrity throughout the planning and supply chain transformation project lifecycle, and resolve data issues promptly.
• Measure plan quality in terms of demand supportability and plan recommendation stability.
• Implement data governance best practices, identify root causes of data issues and recommend system and process improvements.
• Work with GTS and business teams to troubleshoot data discrepancies, and maintain documentation of issue resolution processes.
• Lead cross-functional workshops and act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in data science, business or a related field (preferred).
• 5-7 years of experience in data management, analytics or governance, ideally in supply chain, manufacturing, logistics or procurement.
• Experience in all phases of the data project lifecycle, from strategy and scoping to deployment.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements, with strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with data governance frameworks and master data management (MDM) principles.
• Large ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle) and planning tools (o9, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder).
• BI solutions (Tableau, Sisense, Power BI) and advanced Excel and modelling.
