Supply Chain Ops / Procurement Specialist

About the role

This role supports the HP Additive Manufacturing (3D) business in Operations, manufacturing and delivering customer shipments that meet performance, cost and quality targets. The candidate manages Turnkey (TK) and Guided Turnkey (GTK) parts and commodities for manufacturing partner hardware factories, covering NPI and current product/service spares for Polymer and Metal businesses. The position also offers the chance to lead project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Support new 3D NPI printer product industrialization and current product business for timely parts availability and production.
• Drive and influence GBU and partners to resolve parts specification issues in time for production.
• Act as focal point for manufacturing partner factories on material availability (AOS).
• Manage and enforce accountability of parts/commodity owners so that factory materials stay available and production runs at 100% uptime.
• Work with the internal Printer Procurement team on GTK parts and with the MPa Supply Chain team on TK parts, resolving AOS and quality issues.
• Drive lower costs and mitigate headwinds, and manage HP's factory materials inventory through strategic MOQ adjustments and purchasing approaches.
• Communicate with management and partners on supply chain initiatives and contribute to cost, quality and delivery metrics.

Required profile

• Four-year or graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, or commensurate experience.
• Typically 4-7 years of experience, preferably in supply chain, or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of experience.
• Ability to respond to moderately complex issues within established guidelines and to act as a team or project leader.
