Supply Chain Planner

About the role

The Supply Chain Planner will support planning and procurement of direct materials for AbbVie Singapore. You will ensure timely material availability for production and technology transfer activities while maintaining appropriate inventory levels in close collaboration with senior planners and cross‑functional stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate material planning and supplier master data in the ERP system (Item Master, Vendor Master, BOM, MRP, purchase orders).
• Review MRP outputs, create purchase requisitions and follow up on purchase order deliveries to meet production schedules.
• Monitor raw‑material lead times, safety stock settings and inventory levels, flagging variances or risks to senior planners.
• Support import/export and order‑fulfilment activities by preparing documentation, coordinating with logistics and brokers, and resolving routine delivery issues.
• Assist with basic trade‑compliance tasks such as tariff classification, country‑of‑origin and valuation data preparation.
• Contribute to supply‑chain and trade‑related initiatives by updating trackers, reports and supporting internal/external audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in production planning, scheduling or materials management.
• Experience with SAP or other MRP/ERP systems for material planning, purchasing or inventory management.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities with attention to detail.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
