Supply Chain Planner (Project Logistics/Deployment)

About the role

We are seeking a Supply Chain Planner to lead end‑to‑end planning, coordination, and execution of material flow, logistics, and deployment activities for projects. The role acts as the central hub for internal teams, contractors, vendors, and operational stakeholders, ensuring that schedules, inventories, and processes align with project requirements from pre‑deployment through closeout.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate material planning, logistics scheduling, and delivery execution across internal teams, contractors, vendors, and operational stakeholders.
• Establish process flows for inbound, outbound, returns, asset handling, quarantine, and exception management.
• Provide project teams with inventory visibility, spare‑part planning, consumption tracking, and quality issue reporting.
• Engage vendors on lead times, production planning, and supply‑chain readiness for equipment and material deployment.
• Analyse and propose strategies for storage, inventory management, and material movement to project sites.
• Maintain material and delivery databases for vendors, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Serve as escalation point for material handling, deliveries, and site‑support activities.
• Support inventory checks, cycle counting, and on‑site inventory accuracy.
• Drive supply‑chain optimisation by reducing unnecessary touchpoints and enhancing value‑added activities.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in planning, logistics coordination, inventory management, project support or supply‑chain operations (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
