Sustainability Project Intern

About the role

Roche is looking for a Sustainability Project Intern in Central Singapore to support the planning, execution and implementation of sustainability initiatives. The intern works closely with the project team on research, data analysis, project coordination and implementation, applying academic knowledge in a practical industry setting while learning about Roche's sustainability strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Support the planning, execution and implementation of sustainability projects to meet project objectives and timelines.
• Conduct site visits to customer laboratories and healthcare facilities for sustainability assessments, surveys and data collection.
• Gather, organise and validate project data, including environmental and operational information, to support analyses and reporting.
• Analyse data to identify trends, opportunities and recommendations for improving sustainability performance.
• Prepare project documentation, reports, presentations and dashboards.
• Coordinate with internal cross-functional teams and external stakeholders on meetings and follow-up actions.
• Help develop and implement sustainability tools, templates and best practices.
• Take part in brainstorming sessions and ad hoc projects, events and workshops.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Diploma in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, Business, Data Analytics or a related field.
• Strong interest in sustainability and environmental initiatives.
• Willing to work at Singapore Kallang Avenue and commit to a full-time internship (Monday to Friday, 5 days per week) for the whole period.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word).
• Good analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; self-motivated and able to work independently and in a team.
