Systems Analyst (Java) – Contract

About the role

You will design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise and web‑based applications, translating user requirements into scalable, secure technical solutions. The role involves close collaboration with business users, project teams, and external vendors throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyse user requirements and produce detailed application specifications.
• Design application architecture and database solutions that ensure scalability and security.
• Develop REST and SOAP services and implement features using Java, Spring, Angular and relational databases.
• Perform testing and quality assurance to validate functionality before deployment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly to maintain system stability.
• Provide post‑implementation support and continuous improvement for deployed applications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors throughout the SDLC to deliver aligned solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in systems analysis, database design, application development, implementation and quality assurance.
• Strong communication, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Project and vendor management skills to coordinate development activities and external resources.

What we offer

• 24‑month renewable contract (full‑time, onsite/hybrid in Novena, Singapore).
• Salary SGD 6,000‑8,000 per month (no bonus).
• Standard working hours: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
